The City of Henderson will celebrate Independence Day at Anthem Hills Park.
Anthem Hills Park will open at 6:00 p.m. with event begining at 7:00 p.m.

The entertainment provided by Oasis Jazz, KOAS will be Jackiem Joyner. Jackiem is a saxophonist and flautist and has recently produced his own CD, Babysoul.
FIREWORKS will begin at approximately 9:00 p.m.
Glass Containers, BBQ's and Personal Fireworks will NOT be permitted in the park.

All of Henderson will be celebrating this prestigious holiday in the Water Street District, along Water Street between Army and Basic, and Atlantic Avenue from Water to Lead.
Enjoy two stages of entertainment, one in the Henderson Events Plaza on the Amphitheatre Stage and one on the Convention Center Lawn Stage.

The Events Plaza Amphitheatre Stage will feature
FAB from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Henderson Symphony Orchestra from 8:15 - 9:15 p.m.

The Convention Center Lawn Stage will feature

Continuous shuttle service will be available from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. from Morrell Park at 500 Harris Street to Water Street.

From Belfast, Northern Ireland these talented young musicians will be making only two public appearances while in the United States.
They will perform for the first time in the United States by special invitation at Disneyland with the Henderson Events Plaza as their only other appearance. Don’t miss this great opportunity. Personal coolers are welcome, please refrain from bringing glass containers.

Stop by the Farmers Market and enjoy having fresh market fruits and vegetables on your table. In addition to the wonderful fruits and vegetables you will find fresh baked breads, fresh made salsas, honey, great coffee & tea products and much more. There are booths with great gift ideas such as hand made knitted and embroidered items, beautiful wood carved items, hand made jewelry and other specialty items.
This event takes place every Thursday, weather permitting.

Loews Lake Las Vegas introduces Sushi School to their program Loews Loves Kids.
Master Sushi Chef Fuji Fujita will teach kids ages 5 through teens, the basics of ordering, using chopsticks, eating different types of sushi and sushi etiquette.
The sushi classes will be held at the Sushi Bar at Marssa Restaurant.
Call the concierge desk for reservations and cost information. Parents, with a child, desiring to take part, will need a reservation also.
